Functionality of Backers’ Starscreen machines with 2 Fractions


The starscreen machines with starscreens of 2 fractions can shift the over grain and the fine grain out of the input material. In addition the starscreen machines with starscreens of 2 fractions can be equipped with grids or vibro-grids optionally.

The material is filled in the hopper of the screen type. It is possible to assemble an auger additionally within the hopper accordingly to the type of the material in order to feed the material in better defined dosages to the starscreen. The shifting process begins on the starscreen where the shifting stars are turned in one direction and loosen the material. The fine shifting material falls on a collecting belt between the stars which conveys it on a belt for fine grain aside.

The over grain is conveyed till the end of the starscreen and put on an over grain belt which transports the over grain to the backside.

Optimum screening dimensions are 6/8 to 80 mm.
